The RRUFF Network

The RRUFF Network is a collection of databases that provide RAMAN spectra for minerals according to the requirements of the RRUFF Raman Template.  Members of the network publish RAMAN data with a known set of metadata requirements to ensure compatibility and searchability.

The list below links to the various databases containing RRUFF-compatible RAMAN data.  To search across the entire RRUFF network, use the search box at the bottom of the list.

UofA Mineral Lab

University of Arizona Mineral Lab

The University of Arizona Mineral Lab studies mineral samples provided by the University of Arizona Mineral Museum and other important specimens from collections around the world.

RRUFF Database

The RRUFF Project

The RRUFF Project provides a complete catalog of all minerals found on earth.  Each mineral specimen is subjected to multiple analyses including Raman spectroscopy, chemistry analysis, and powder diffraction.
